Independence Day Awards See BECE Students receive Honours

A number of students and candidates of the 2021 BECE received awards for their outstanding achievements which was primarily based on their performance in the exam and raw scores.
They were 36 in total and received such honors from the Head of State, His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo on Wednesday March 2,2022 when the event took place.
They comprised; two students of both sexes from all 16 regions of Ghana and also four students with hearing and visual impairments.
The President appealed to the awardees to keep their heads down and work harder despite being honored in such a way.
The President also made an emphasis on government’s commitment to invest in the educational sector.
