Gunman who shot Trump identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks
Trump Shot in Attempted Assassination at Pennsylvania Rally
The former President Donald Trump was shot and wounded during a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, in what is being called one of the most horrifying acts of violence in political history.
According to eyewitnesses, the 20-year-old gunman named Thomas Crooks opened fire on Trump from a rooftop 130 yards away from the stage, firing at least eight shots.
The crowd was sent into chaos as Trump’s Secret Service agents rushed to his side, shielding him from further harm.
Miraculously, Trump emerged from the scene, raising his fist and shouting “fight, fight, fight” as he was whisked away to a hospital for treatment.
Just hours later, he released a statement assuring the public that he was “fine” and describing the moment he felt the bullet rip through his skin.
But despite Trump’s relatively quick recovery, the incident has sparked widespread outrage and questions about how law enforcement allowed the gunman to open fire on a former president.
FBI Special Agent Kevin Rojek described the shooting as an “attempted assassination” and admitted that it was “surprising” the gunman was able to fire multiple shots before being killed by Secret Service agents.
The FBI is still investigating the incident, but it has emerged that there were multiple reports of suspicious activity in the area before the shooting.

Rojek revealed that law enforcement responded to these reports, but it remains unclear why the gunman was able to breach security and get so close to Trump.
The victim who was killed in the attack has been identified as a 35-year-old man who was attending the rally. The identity of the shooter has not been officially released.
As news of the incident continues to unfold, many are left wondering how this could have happened.
How did a 20-year-old gunman manage to get so close to Trump with an AR rifle? How did law enforcement fail to prevent this attempted assassination?
The answers to these questions will only emerge as the investigation continues.
But for now, one thing is clear: this shocking incident has sent shockwaves through the nation and serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of political violence.
