GOIL donates educational materials to students of Nana Badu Bonsu Basic School in Sekondi- Takoradi

GOIL Ghana has donated educational materials to over 400 students at Nana Badu Bonsu Basic School . This kind of initiative is part of the community development programs of the company which is aimed at supporting education in the communities where it operates.
The donation that took place on March 20, supported students from Kindergarten 1 & 2, Class 6, and JHS 1 & 2. The materials provided consisted of rulers, color pencils,crayons, pencils, erasers, drawing books, coloring books, exercise books, math set, math books, pens, and sharpeners. Thses materials are essential tools to foster learning development and support students academic success.
As Andy William Nana Adu Tawiah, the Territory Executive for Goil’s Western Zone was speaking at the event, he expressed how dedicated the company is to giving back to society. He stressed the need for early childhood education and verified that Goil will keep on supporting initiatives that can boost young students engagement.
Andy William Nana Adu Tawiah declared that “At Goil, we believe that education is the basis for a brighter tomorrow. This kind of donation is among of our continuous commitment to supporting the next generation, and we will continue to support schools and students in need.”

Mrs. Mercy Appiah, the Headmistress of Nana Badu Bonsu Basic School, showed appreciation for Goil’s charitable contribution, detailing the charitable grant as an essential relief for pupils and parents.
Mrs. Mercy Appiah also appealed for further assistance to deal with other problems the school is facing. She stated that “We are very grateful for such academic support from GOIL because these materials will make a significant impact iimproving teaching and learning. We are encouraging other institutions and stakeholders to also give a hand in improving the academic excellence for our students.”
She also urged parents to get involved in their kids’ education, showing genuine interest and actively teaming up with the school. By working together, we can achieve amazing results and help our children thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
