Ghana v Guinea-Bissau, A win in sight for Ghana Black stars, but face a potential early exit: Akwesi Appiah to lose job if. The Ghana Black Stars need a win desperately to qualify to the round of 16 of the ongoing AFCON 2019 in Egypt.
Ghana’s coach Kwesi Appiah may be fired if he fails to beat Guinea-Bissau. An early elimination of the Black Stars is a big possibility tonight if and if they play as though there is nothing at stake.
If Kwesi wants to keep his job, it’s a win tonight against Guinea-Bissau that is needed. The Black Stars haven drawn their first two matches and have just two points have their destiny in their own hands. So far, they have proven to be on a one-game one point project which will come to hunt them if they fail to pick the three maximum points tonight.

Already, the team is rocked with a needless red card to John Boye, injury to Christian Atsu who suffered a hamstring injury. Nothing seems to be working for the Black Stars.
Support for the team continues to dwindle and if they want to save their skins, tonight, they must be very potent in front of goal, take their chances and do a good job by winning.
Newsghana24.com predicted a draw as the best outcome for the black stars in their match against Cameroon and many were those who thought otherwise. Well, we all know the outcome. On the day, Ghana was lucky indeed not to have lost.
But, tonight, we tip the black stars to win and obtain the three points at stake. It is not going to be easy for them however, with the right approach and respect for the Guinea Bissau team who are yet to win a match at the AFCON since 2018 would love to spoil the party for Ghana knowing very well that, a win for them against Ghana and a drawn game between Cameroon and Benin will see them place second with four points and qualify them to the round of 16.
Although Ghana is the favourite on the night, an upset will not be bad to see Guinea Bissau go through. The last time Guinea Bissau won a match at the AFCON was on 14th October 2018 when they beat Zambia by 2 goals to 1. Do they have what it takes to repeat such a victory in Egypt?
Coach AKEWSI Appiah and his boys must not disappoint Ghana today.
