Ghana Tourism Authority Endorses LAPAZ STREETFEST 2026
The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has endorsed the upcoming LAPAZ STREETFEST 2026, a two-day cultural, entertainment, and community festival scheduled to take place from December 25 to 26, 2026, at Lapaz in Accra.
The festival, organised by the TERIA Foundation and its partners, is expected to bring together young people, creatives, performing artists, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), food vendors, and members of the wider community for a celebration of Ghanaian culture, music, creativity, and tourism.
The event will be held under the theme “Rhythm of Unity,” with a focus on creating a vibrant platform for cultural expression, local entrepreneurship, and tourism promotion while contributing to the growth of Ghana’s creative economy.
The GTA’s endorsement is expected to further strengthen the festival’s positioning as a platform that contributes to Ghana’s tourism and cultural development agenda.
According to the organisers, the festival also complements the broader Black Star Experience initiative by providing an avenue for local talents, businesses, and cultural actors to connect with audiences and showcase Ghanaian creativity.
The two-day event is expected to feature a range of activities involving performing artists, creatives, entrepreneurs, food vendors, exhibitors, brands, and other stakeholders.
The organisers have subsequently opened the festival to participation from performing artists, creatives, SMEs, food vendors, exhibitors, brands, and other interested stakeholders who wish to showcase their talents, products, and services.
They are encouraging interested participants and partners to take advantage of the platform to engage audiences, promote their businesses, and contribute to a celebration of Ghanaian culture and community.
