Ghana gets no 2024 BET Awards nominations: Check full list of nominations
The full list of nominations for the 2024 BET Awards has been released, but sadly, Ghana did not get a single nomination this year. At the 2023 event, Ghana’s Black Sherrif raised the red, gold, and green, with the Black Star country’s hope so high with a nomination. He went further to win the Best International Flow award at the BET Hip-Hop Awards 2023.
Nigeria, on the other hand, has secured seven enviable nominations at the 2024 award.
The artists who nominated from Nigeria include Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Tems, Asake, Seyi Vybez, Davido, and Lojay.
These Nigerian artiste nominated for the 2024 BET Awards are expected to win some of the awards.
Ayra Starr led the Nigerian contingent with three nominations, followed closely by Burna Boy and Tems, with two nominations each.
South African singer Tyla is the African artiste with the highest of four nominations.
Drake led the overall nominations for the 2024 BET Awards with seven nominations, followed by Nicki Minaj, with six nominations.
