Ghana Black Stars V Kenya in last AFCON qualifier: A win in sight

The Ghana Black Stars will plat their last 2019 AFCON qualifier against league table leaders Kenya at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra. This match is expected to be a walk over for the black starts who sit at second position with 6 points. Both teams has qualified for the football mundia and so a win for the Black Star’s IN today’s encounter will them to the top of the table with 9 points. A draw or a loss will maintain the table as it stands.

Records show that Ghana has played Kenya at the senior national team level 8 times. Out of these meetings, Ghana has won 4, drawn 2 and Kenya has also managed 2 wins. The odds straight away favour the Ghana black stars. In all these encounters, Ghana scored 34 goals as against 13 goals by Kenya. Can this be an indication that, Ghana will run over the Kenya side?

The Ohene Djan Sports Stadium has been one tough place where the Black stars have dropped valuable points. The Kenya team is not here to tour but to prove a point and will do all they can to frustrate the black stars.

An early goal by the Black Stars will be good for the confidence of the team and help tame the Kenyans early in the game who will be playing tactically to ensure the worse scoreline is a draw which will keep them at the top of the table.

The battle lines will be drawn at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium where everything is set and the home support must come to play in favour of the black stars in this final encounter.

In the first leg in Kenya, they beat the black stars by a lone goal with one man down and would come out with tactical game plans to spoil the party for the black stars who are looking forward to nothing but a revenge and victory right on home soil.  

Pundits are predicting a tough game and a victory for the Black stars. A careful analysis of the statistics in terms of goals has revealed a better goal ration of 2:0.6 for the back stars. It is looking as though the Ghana Black Stars will earn the maximum point with a 2-1 win over Keya today.
