GES Study Leave With Pay 2020/2021

GES study leave with pay 2020/2021 has commenced per a letter from the Ghana Education Service sighted by Newsghana24.com.

According to the GES, I have approved 19 subject areas for the study leave with pay 2020/2021 academic year. This also affords nonteaching staff the opportunity to upgrade themselves in fields showed as part of the study areas.  The closing date for all interested applicants is 30th October 2020.

It is important that teaching and non-teaching staff are aware of the challenges of not securing the approval of GES before embarking on the study leave. Others include AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE: ANIMAL HUSBANDRY, CROP HUSBANDRY, HORTICULTURE, FISHERIEs, FORESTRY.

Under Ghanaian languages, the approved subjects are DAGAARE, DAGBANI, DANGME, EWE, FANTE, GA, GONJA, KASEM, GURUNE,  NZEMA, TWI (AKUAPEM), TWI (ASANTE)

It has also been indicated that the leave is opened to both teachers and non-teaching staff offering ICT. Supply and Logistics, Laboratory Technician and Library and Information Studies programs are for only non-teaching staff.

The various subjects are categorized into Science, Agric Science, Arts, Ghanaian Languages, Business Education, Vocational / Technical, Art/Fine Art/Industrial Art, with some non-teaching subjects.
