GES extends MID-Term break for SHS students nation wide is the latest news for SHS students.
The general public, parents, guardians and Ghana Education Service Staff for Senior High Schools are informed that Management of Ghana Education Service has given approval upon a request from the leadership of CHASS to extend the mid-semester break.

Agreement implies the Mid Term break starts from 12th November 2019 to 15th November 2019.
Senior High School Students , teachers and non teaching staff in public Senior High School are expected to return to school over the weekend.

Accoding to the GES, full academic work resumes on Monday 18th November 2019.

This directive equally applies to all Senior High School students in SHS 1 as well as those in Second year on the Gold track who were expected to report to school on 12th November 2019.
In a related development, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo invited first batch students from the West African Senior School (FSH) to Excel in WASSCE 2020 exams and to shame critics, who feel that money is wasted and nothing good will come from the program.
He was convinced that the first group of Free SHS students would be excellent, excel in WASSCE 2020 and that it will ensure his naysayers are shamed.
