GES decision regarding rent payment by teachers in government bungalows backed by Ministry of Finance

The decision by the Ghana Education Service(GES) to request the rent payment of the teachers occupying the government owned bungalows is being validated by the institution.
Apparently, the letter endorsed by the Western Regional Education Director is backed by a directive from the Ministry of Finance and is also supported by the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament.
The management of the Ghana Education Service is set to meet with the leadership of the concerned unions to discuss issues pertaining to the 10 percent rent payment.
This follows the fight back from the National Association of Graduate Teachers(NAGRAT) and the Ghana National Association of Teachers(GNAT).
