FIFA 2022: Barack Obama Declares Messi as the GOAT

After Argentina won the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, became a candidate for “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time).
Argentina won the FIFA World Cup for the third time after a 3-3 tie in extra time and a 4-2 win over France on penalties. The first two times they won were in 1978 and 1986.
President Obama congratulated the Albicelestes on their win and called the Barcelona star the GOAT as a tribute to Lionel Messi, who had won every football trophy before the championship game against France, came in.
On his Twitter account, Barack Obama wrote, “Congratulations to Argentina and to the greatest player of all time, Lionel Messi, for a great World Cup win.”
Lionel Messi was named the best player and Man of the Match in the championship game against France. He scored seven goals during the tournament.
Others who paid tribute to the Argentine legend included Neymar’s teammates from Paris Saint-Germain, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, and Ronaldinho from Brazil, Gary Lineker and David Beckham from England, and Gavi from Barcelona.
