Everton Set To Make A Move For Sensational Ghanaian Winger.
In a move that is set to bolster the attacking options of Everton. Everton Football Club, headed by former West Ham coach David Moyes, is on the verge of securing the services of Ghanaian talented winger Ernest Nuamah from Olympique Lyonnais on an undisclosed fee. Reports sighted by News Ghana 24 indicate that the Premier League-based club is likely to make another offer for the talented winger after failing to meet the player’s requirement in the summer transfer window last year, 2024.
The young Ghanaian winger has been on the radar of some Premier League-based clubs, including Fulham and Everton, from the last season campaign. Ernest Nuamah is well known for his blistering pace and also his ability to take on defenders in 1V1 situations. He began his football career in an academy based in Ghana Right To Dream. He later on moved to the Danish side, Nordjesland. Later on, he moved on a loan deal to Ligue 1-based club Olympique Lyonnais before signing for the club on an undisclosed fee. The talented winger also has 12 caps for the Ghana senior national team.
Everton’s current squad lacks dynamism on the flanks, and the addition of Ernest Nuamah will add a bit of creativity and directness to Everton’s attack. Everton and Lyon are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with only small details left for Nuamah to wear the blue jersey.
New head coach of the Merseyside-based club David Moyes will be looking to add more creativity into the attack of Everton to see if they can change their position on the Premier League table.
