Dreams FC has been asked by the National Sports Authority (NSA) to pay a significant amount of GH₵36,070.00 for using the Baba Yara Stadium in their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup semi-final second-leg match against Zamalek FC.
Dreams FC have used the stadium since the qualifying stage, establishing it as a fortress throughout their successful debut campaign in the competition.
In response to an advertisement circulated by Dreams FC, announcing free entry into the center line and Popular Stands at the Baba Yara Stadium, the NSA has taken action by addressing a letter to the General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association.

In this letter, they have formally demanded the total sum of GH₵36,070.00 from Dreams FC for their use of the facility.
The letter from the NSA outlines several expenses associated with the usage of the facility, including field preparation, janitorial services, sanitation, and the provision of a standby generator.
Signed by the Regional Director of the NSA, Kwame Baah Mensa, and dated April 23, the letter is addressed to the General Secretary of the GFA. It meticulously itemises the various costs to be incurred for the utilization of the Baba Yara Stadium.
Traditionally, the initial arrangements for utilising the facility have involved the sharing of gate proceeds, with agreed-upon percentages allocated to cover the costs of facility usage.
However, in light of the announcement of free entry, the NSA has promptly reminded Dreams FC and the GFA of their financial responsibilities in this matter.
