Don’t incite GN customers against Dr. Ndoum – Assin North PPP warns
The Assin North Constituency Executives of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has sent serious warnings to Mr. Joseph Osei Yeboah, popularly called JOY, a 2012 and 2016 independent presidential contester.
They have warned him to stay clear off Dr. Nduom and stop inciting aggrieved customers of Groupe Nduom whose funds are locked up against Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom.
This warning came at the back of comments made by JOY Tuesday as he declared his intention to contest the 2020 presidential elections.

According to the executives, his comments are diabolic, dangerous and a well-thought plan to get the good man in harm’s way.
Mr. Osei Yeboah’s supposed comment read, “I will advise Papa Kwasi Nduom to step aside and immediately rescind his decision if he has the intention. The aggrieved customers will launch an attack on him if he attempts to mount the podium to the campaign; he will be pelted with stones.
“The customers are bitter and won’t forgive him if they get hold of him. Some of the aggrieved customers have died and others have contracted stroke. I don’t think he will even risk his life”.
But the Assin North Constituency branch of the Dr. Nduom’s party, led by their chairman, Mr. Isaac Manu, takes this more of a threat than a piece of advice.
“This is a serious statement made by him and as per what happened to investigative journalist, Ahmed Suale, the party will not take this kindly but will treat it as a matter of provocation”, their statement read.
The statement went on to say that ” It is very true that customers’ funds are locked up with GN and these customers are aggrieved, but to the extent that they will chase Dr. Nduom to kill him during campaign section cannot be associated with these customers but remains an incitement by Joseph Osei Yeboah” and “the party is informing JOY that should anything happen to Dr. Nduom or any of his family members now, during or after the 2020 elections, he will be held responsible”.
They also think that JOY wants to use the situation to get himself popular. Mr Isaac Manu said, ” Joseph Osei Yeboah cannot use Dr Nduom to hype himself. If he wants to be popular then he should go the right way. Dr. Nduom is too big for him to use as his hype”.
JOY was advised to admonish the government to pay contractors what it owes them so the contractors can also pay back to the company a whooping amount of GH¢2.4 billion. That they said, is the only and fair solution to the problem.
BACKGROUND
Two of Groupe Nduom companies, GN Savings and Blackshield Capital Management (formerly Gold Coast Fund Management) suffered serious injuries during the banking sector clean up by the Bank of Ghana. This has locked customers’ funds to almost a tune of GH¢30 million.
Dr Nduom thinks he has been treated wrongly and unfairly and is sorting legal intervention. The legal team of the company believes that if the government can pay back what it owes the company and the contractors the company had financed, there will be enough to pay customers.
The matter keeps being adjourned in court as customers are on the neck of Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom to get their investments back and safe.
