A video which has gone viral on social media captures the Minister of Education, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh describing diploma teachers as having attended college with the worst results. This comment was passed during an interview with Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye on Kesben TV.
This video is not only dishonorable but also demonstrates a deep-seated disrespect to the teaching workforce of this country.
Those comments are backwards, unfortunate and indictment to the high office of minister of education.
Management of Kesben TV must distance themselves from the comments and the Minister of Education must retract remarks and apologize
Ghana has come this far as a results of the sacrifice of our teachers and it is on their hard work that the foundation of Ghana’s educational framework was built and is sustained.
Thank You
