Coronavirus: Ghana’s active cases decreasing but case count cross 40,000

Ghana’s active Coronavirus cases decreasing per the latest figures released by the Ghana Health Service. The country’s active cases of COVID-19 now stand at 2625 from 3,253 according to the GHS after 628 patients had recovered and discharged after completing their period of treatment.
The latest information by the GHS showed thus shoots up the recovery rate, which was 36, 638 to 37, 702 thus Ghana’s active cases are decreasing as more recoveries and fewer daily cases are reported.

Meanwhile, the case count for coronavirus in Ghana has passed the 40,000 mark and stands at 40, 533 whiles the death toll remains at 206.
Persons infected by COVID-19 are now discharged from the various health facilities after 14 days of treatment once they stop exhibiting symptoms of the virus.
