AL Nassr Set To Trigger €100m Release Clause For Mohammed Kudus.
Saudi Professional League side Al Nassr are set to trigger the release clause for Ghanaian and West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus.
It is that time of the season again where football clubs in the world either put their players on sale on the transfer market or go in to buy new players from other clubs. The transfer window is not yet open, but some clubs have started approaching players who they think can help them strengthen their squad roster for the next football season, which is expected to start in August 2025 to 2026. And the latest of it all is Al Nassr approaching West Ham to purchase Mohammed Kudus.
Per unconfirmed reports Mohammed Kudus is named among the four players who have been targeted by Al Nassr in the English Premier League, and they include his Ghana national teammate Antoine Semnyo, Luiz Diaz of Liverpool, and Karou Mitoma of Brighton & Hove Albion. Per reports from the English media, Mohammed Kudus has a release clause of €120m for all Saudi Arabian clubs that are willing to buy the Ghanaian international from West Ham United. Mohammed Kudus has a release clause of €85m for clubs in the English Premier League who are willing to buy Mohammed Kudus.
The Saudi Arabia-based club will be willing to get the deal through after their first bid for Mohammed Kudus in January got rejected by West Ham after they submitted an offer of €90m for the Ghanaian star boy. Mohammed Kudus’ versatility on the pitch can sometimes see him playing as a false nine or even sometimes on the wings.
The Ghanaian international joined the Hammers in 2023 from Ajax Amsterdam for an amount of over €50m plus add-ons. Kudus has made a total of 76 appearances for West Ham, scoring a total of 16 goals for the London-based club.
