The protestors shouted and projected placards with very negative messages. Some of the placards read
“Akufo Addo is Mobutu Incarnate”,
“Nana Addo is a Corruption expert”,
“Nana is a Galamsey King pin”,
“stop destroying the environment, NPP”,
“stop rigging the election”,
“Ghana needs rule of law, not rule of men”,

They could not believe the party they love so much has changed considerably since winning the 2016 election. They compared the current NPP government to the Kufuor era during which people from all the regions had an opportunity to be part of the government of the day.
“Today, you only need to be a member of the President’s family to have a brain” one Felix Hamilton said. Another protestor Issah Ayoma, revealed he is a relative the late Chairman Adams Mahama of the Upper East region.
When Kweku Nkansa was in sight at Chatham House, the protestors charged and screamed angrily indicating all was not well with even Ghanaians abroad.
Onlookers and residents, some of whom were in just pyjamas, walked closer to the charged crowd and took pictures of them.
The NPP women organiser who was present as part of the delegation with the president is reported to have charged on Mr Ayoma and slapped him saying in Twi, “I will beat you up like my own child if you try to disgrace my Chairman like that.”
A security officer with the president was reported to have separated them. Would the president take action regarding the protesters’ anger and issues of corruption, Galamsey, nepotism and the rigging allegations raised by them?
