JUST IN: GES spares 1 and dismiss 13 SHSs students over misconduct in WASSCE

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially dismissed 13 instead of 14 final year Senior High School students for their misconduct and indiscipline acts in the ongoing WASSCE for School Candidates.
Hence the total number of students who called for the wrath of the GES is officially 13 and not 14 for their misconduct and indiscipline acts in the ongoing WASSCE 2020 for School Candidates which commenced on August 3rd, 2020.
According to the latest update from the GES, a statement dated August 8, 2020, copied to NewsGhana24.com has said it mistakenly included a teacher’s name to the list of 14 dismissed students.

14 final year SHS students who were interdicted after investigations of violent riots and other misconducts during the ongoing examination for final year students have since the announcement by the GES exited their various schools.
Per the records available, two students of Tweneboah Koduah SHS were dismissed and barred from writing the WASSCE 2020 exams in their school. They are the Senior Prefect, Simon Ameyibor and Juliet Amoakowaa.
