2022 World Cup: Portugal vs Ghana – Key Players to Watch Out For
On Thursday at Stadium 974, the young and talented Ghanaians will be Cristiano Ronaldo’s first opponent at the World Cup 2022.
This World Cup will be different because of how rich Portugal’s team is, and they should be compared to other strong countries.
But Portugal is less controversial, and their star player has got a lot of attention, so Manchester United announced yesterday that Ronaldo’s contract had been mutually cancelled after his shocking interview.
This shouldn’t hide the fact, though, that Portugal will be a bit of a surprise in this tournament.
Ghana’s 2-0 win over Switzerland should have given them the confidence that they can pull off another surprise. The Black Star will try to make money off of this.
Portugal
Rafael Leao
This season, the AC Milan attacker has been a big surprise with his lightning-fast speed and willingness to take on defenders. He is an excellent left-flanker.
Leao will be happy to share what he knows because it looks like Portugal has a lot of new talent. His quick feet and height make it easy for him to do his job. He will be ready to show off in his first World Cup game.
Ghana
Andre Ayew
Ayew is one of Ghana’s older players, but even though he is in his 30s, he is still very quick and will be best pushing forward.
He is one of the most important things that can change the outcome of the game, so Ghana will be counting on him.
