WAEC 2019 Nov/Dec Examination Results Statistics for WASSCE PC

WAEC has Released 2019 Nov/Dec Examination Results of candidates who sat for the Second Series of its West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for (private candidates) has been released.

The West African Examinations Council wishes to inform its numerous publics that it has released Nov/Dec 2019 Examination Results of candidates who sat for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2019.

2019 Nov/Dec Examination Results Statistics

A total of 102,278 candidates made up of 51,935 males and 55,488 females sat for the examination. Out of those who initially registered for the examination, 5,145 of the candidates were absent

Nov/Dec Withheld Pending Results

The entire results of 753 candidates alleged to have been involved in various examination malpractices have been withheld pending conclusion of investigations into cases of malpractices.

These malpractices include:

• Impersonation

• Bringing mobile phones into the examination hall

• .Double Registration.

The withheld results will be released as soon as the Council concludes its investigations. Candidates may access their results online www.waecgh.org

2019 Nov/Dec Results Upgrade

Members of the public are advised to be on the alert for fraudsters who contact candidates with the promise of upgrading their results for a fee payable through mobile money transfers.

The Council’s results database is well secured, as such all forged results can be detected by the confirmation/verification system which has been made available to institutions and organizations. Institutions and organisations are advised to confirm or verify results presented to them directly from the Council or access the confirmation/verification service online at the WAEC website.

Results print-out can also be confirmed by scanning the encrypted QR Code on the print-out.

The withheld results will be released or cancelled as soon as the Council concludes its investigations. Candidates may access their results online at www.waecgh.org. Candidates may also dial *944# to either buy the results checker PIN or check results via SMS.
