VOICE OF BUAH [VOB]
11th APRIL, 2019
VOB dares the NPP Gov & the National chairman[Freddy Blay] to showcase their two years achievement to the good people of Ellembele
have observed with keen interest the manner in which the NPP government has neglected the good people of Ellembelle in sharing of the national cake at a point where under the able leadership of President Mills/Mahama and Buah administration helped to provide our constituency some major developmental projects such as, GHANA GAS and ENI GAS of which today, are supplying power to fuel most of our power plants in the country and also created a lot of direct and indirect jobs for our constituency members and the country at large.
Ellembele district before the exit of the NDC administration was ranked 11th as the best performing District in the country as cited by UNICEF. ORG in their publication as at the end of November 2016.But can’t be located anymore in the first Thirty(30) performing district in the country according to UNICEF. ORG in collaboration with CDD Ghana report at the end of the year 2017 under the leadership of NPP government. Something we have noticed as total neglect by the NPP government led by President Nana Addo and his Party’s National Chairman, Mr. Freddie Blay who also doubles as Board Chairman for GNPC and also a native of this constituency and a 3 term MP for the Constituency with no better Legacy to showcase as his achievement.
We the above-stated group would want to inquire from the NPP government where we went wrong as a Constituency so that we can apologize and also enjoy our fair share of the national cake. We would also want to ask the Party’s National Chairman Mr. Blay who also doubles as GNPC Board Chairman and as such has been attending cabinet meetings to showcase his plans or stand on the construction of the Atuabo Port ,a Project that would create employment for thousands of his own constituent and other developmental projects his outfit has for the good people of Ellembele constituency, or is he siding with Kwaku Kwarteng, MP for Obuasi West, Mr Kwabena Okyere Darko, MP for Takoradi, Mr Joseph Cudjoe, MP for Effia, Mr Kofi Brako, Former MP for Tema Central and Mad. Mavis Hawa Koomson Ewutu Senya MP and current Local Government and Rural Development minister who took the construction of the Atuabo port to court when the NDC administration started it’s construction and halted the project[tv3network.com, on 24th July 2014]
As National Chairman and Board Chairman for GNPC, we, as members of Ellembele constituency would want to inquire from you, your achievements during your reign as our MP for twelve (12)years and as National Chairman for NPP for the past two(2) years three (3) months.
