The Ghanaian midfielder’s contract with Arsenal is expected to end on the 30th of this month. Initially the 32-year-old defensive midfielder was discussing new contract terms with Arsenal, but reports have it that both parties are not advancing on a new deal. Thomas Partey is likely to leave Arsenal as a free agent and has been linked to Real Madrid.
Nico Williams to Barcelona
As reported in the past days, Football Club Barcelona has agreed to personal terms with Nico Williams, with the young winger is set for a 6-year deal. He will be receiving a salary worth €7 million per season. Football Club Barcelona is set to also complete a financial agreement with Athletic Club Bilbao for the services of Nico Williams.
Joan Garcia to Barcelona
Barcelona have completed the signing of goalkeeper Joan Garcia from Espanyol on a deal worth €25 million. The young goalkeeper was unveiled by Barcelona yesterday with a contract until June 2031. Reports have it that Joan Garcia is expected to be the number 1 goalkeeper of Hansi Flick’s side, with Ter Stegen expected to leave the club.
Zubimendi To Arsenal
Arsenal will pay more than the €60 million release clause for Zubimendi from Real Sociedad. The fee is expected to be a bit higher, but both clubs have agreed to allow payment in installments.
