The NLA boss of Ghana appointed veep of Association of African Lotteries

Mr. Mohammed Abdul Salam, the Director General of National Lottery Authority (NLA), has been appointed as the Vice President of the African Lotteries Association (ALA).
His appointment as the Vice President of African Lotteries Association (ALA) follows the official resignation of the past Director General of National Lottery Authority (NLA), Hon. Samuel Awuku who was also appointed on 8th March, 2024 as the Vice President of African Lotteries Association (ALA).
The African Lotteries Association (ALA) by mutual agreement officially approved Mr. Mohammed Abdul Salam to the Executive Committee to render assistance to Hon. Samuel Awuku’ remaining term of office.
During a virtual African Lotteries Association (ALA) conference, Mr. Dramane Coulibaly, the president and the member of the Executive Committee commended Mr. Mohammed Abdul Salam and extended a warm welcome to him into the Executive Committee.
Down the line, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Salam paid an official working trip to the the National Lottery Authority’s sister body the Loterie Nationale De Cote D’Ivoire (LONACI), where he was welcomed with official honors in the course of his trip by the African Lotteries Association (ALA) President, Mr. Dramane Coulibaly.
The newly appointed Vic President of the African Lotteries Association (ALA), Mr. Mohammed Abdul Salam also expressed heartfelt thanks for the appointment and the prolonged association between the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and Loterie Nationale De Cote D’Ivoire (LONACI) bodies.
Mr. Mohammed Abdul Salam said that “I am the most thankful and appreciative to the President of African Lotteries Association (ALA) committee for my promotion to a senior role as African Lotteries Association (ALA) Vice President. I promise to foster a spirit of cooperation with them to deliver remarks to our member bodies’ concerns and achieve the goals of the Association”.
Mr. Mohammed Abdul Salam again stressed on how elated and how he is willing to discover the time-tested strategies that have demonstrated notable increase in revenue for the Loterie Nationale De Cote D’Ivoire (LONACI), after which he plans to drill into National Lottery Authority (NLA) and LONACI.
Mr. Mohammed Abdul Salam who was also a guest at the conference for LONACI, achieved his Responsible Gaming World Lottery Association (WLA) level 2 certification.
Mr. Dramane Coulibaly declared that “This certification will enable them identify the significants shortcomings and fulfill the responsibilities regarding responsible gaming. It is a proof of our commitment and o acknowledging the principles of Responsible Gaming as mandated by the World Lottery Association (WLA) and provide testimony to the fact that Loterie Nationale De Cote D’Ivoire (LONACI) has completed with satisfactory results of critical self assessment “.
