Teenagers BEAT 55-YEAR-old Headteacher to DEATH
Four teenagers decided to take the law into their own hands and beat a 55 year old Headteacher to death. They had no mercy for the head of school as they beat him ruthlessly.
The victim is the Headteacher of Salvation Army Basic School in the person of George Somuah Bosompem. He was attacked after he had earlier complained about how the school was continuously invaded by persons who come to abuse drugs within the premises.
According to source, the teens who invade the school also defecate just anywhere on the premises. Newsghana.com gathered that, the youth of the community has been advised by the head teacher four days before his ordeal whoch left him dead. At the community information centre, he called on the youth to stop smoking in the school.
This act might have provoked the youth to “Teach him a lesson” hence the subsequent attack. According to reliable sources, the suspected drug addicts attacked the head teacher and a lady friend and dished out beatings using sticks, blocks and other weapons they could lay their hands on. The barbaric act attracted many to the scene and subsequently the police patrol team which managed to arrest one of the suspects and 18 year old Richard Amaning aka Konko.
At the time of his arrest, he was pretending to help assist the victim into a vehicle. Other accomplices were later picked up by the police. They include Police Mireku Emmanuel aged 17, Philip Okodie also 17, and 18 year old Paul Boadu The attack left the head teacher seriously wounded.
Although he was rushed to the Kibi Government Hospital and later to the St. Joseph Hospital on transfer where he gave up the ghost.
This incident has led to the teachers of the the Asiakwa Salvation Army Basic School commenced a sit down strike while they plan a demonstration to be staged on May 10, 2019.
