South African Farmer kills two women and feeds bodies to pigs
A South African farmer together with his employees face severe charges for allegedly killing two Black women and feeding their bodies to his pigs in an attempt to conceal the crime.
Maria Makgatho 45, and Locadia Ndlovu 34, were reportedly looking for food on the farm which believed to belong to a 60–year-old Zachariah Johannes Oliver in the northern province of Limpopo when they were shot to death.
According to sources, a dairy company disposed some soon-to-expire goods on Oliver’s farm, where Makgatho and Ndlovu went there to look for dairy products. They were shot after being seen and their bodies were fed to pigs.
Ndlovu’s husband, who accompanied both women to the farm was also shot but luckily , was able to crawl away to call for help.

Later on, he reported the incident to the local police where they found out that the women’s bodies had been in the pigsty several days after they got killed.
Makgatho’s brother, Walter Mathole told BBC he was with the officers when the bodies were discovered and saw his sister’s body half eaten.
Now, the farm owner Zachariah Johannes Olivier, 60, and his employees Adrian de Wet, 19, and William Musora, 50, face charges of attempted murder for shooting at Ms Ndlovu’s husband as well as possession of an unlicensed firearm.
The murders have exacerbated racial tensions between white and black in South Africa despite the end of the racist system of apartheid 30 years ago.
There have been two other incidents that have hiked up racial tension recently.
In the eastern province of Mpumalanga, a farmer and his assistant were arrested in August for the alleged murder of two men who they accused of stealing sheep at a farm in Laersdrift near the small town of Middleburg.
The victim’s bodies were burned beyond recognition in an attempted effort to hide the evidence.
The most recent case involves a 70-year old white farmer who is accused of driving over a six-year-old boy, breaking both of his legs, for stealing an orange in his farm.
The bail hearing for Christoffel Stoman, from Lutzville in Western Cape province, is ongoing.
The court has heard that mother and son were walking past the farm as they made their way to town to buy groceries.
It is alleged the six-year-old stopped to pick up an orange that had fell on the ground – and the mother looked in dismay as the farmer allegedly knocked him down.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) said the farmer was facing two counts of attempted murder and reckless driving.
Oliver, Adrian de Wet and Musora have not yet entered a plea and their trail was postponed till early next month.
