Sekondi Takoradi MCE apprehended on counts of Dangerous driving and assault of a public officer.



Abdul Mumin Issah, Sekondi Takoradi Municipal Chief Executive, has been arrested a d charged by the police for allegedly driving dangerously in a Toyota Land Cruiser registered as GE 5615 20 and also assault on a police officer who attempted to stop him at the Kwasinintsim Cemetery checkpoint.
The Sekondi Takoradi MCE allegedly threatened the police officer with possible job insecurity and transfer. He also allegedly verbally assaulted the police officer and sent insults his way.
Abdul Mumin Issah was arrested by the Western Regional Police Command on February 3, 2022 on counts of motor offensive behavior , verbal assault and traffic offense; three counts of assault of a government officer, offensive conduct and disturbance of public peace.
