Pentecost and All Nations University College can now award their own degrees and diplomas
Pentecost University College (PUC) and All Nations University College by this charter are full-fledged Universities that will now be able to award its own degrees rather than through an affiliate University as required of all private Universities without a charter.
The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo presented the Charter Certificate to the university on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at a brief presentation ceremony at the Jubilee House.

In his address, President Akufo-Addo commended Pentecost University for the hard work done over the years to merit the status of an independent institution of higher learning.
Having applauded Pentecost University College and All Nations University College for the solid work done over the last decade, President Akufo-Addo drew their attention to the fact that “a Charter may be suspended or revoked by the President on the recommendation of the Board; and the grant of a Charter does not relieve an institution of the obligation to operate only in facilities approved by the Board or to run only accredited programmes or courses.”
He, however, admonished the institutions not to rest on its oars but to justify their new status as a Chartered University by maintaining the standards that have elevated it to a full-fledged tertiary institution.
“The Universities should bear in mind that they will be closely monitored especially in the areas of concern outlined by the National Accreditation Board,” President Akufo-Addo said.
“As a chartered institution, I urge you to continue to improve and introduce more innovative programmes and course that will equip your students with the requisite skills and competencies needed to develop our country and transform progressively the economy,” the President added.
