Okaikoi South Education Directorate receives support from MP

Dakoa Newman, Member of Parliament(MP) for Okaikoi South, has donated certain items to the Okaikoi South Education Directorate to help with teaching and learning.
She explained that the donation was made to assist the education directorate in giving the schools a new look in order to inspire both students and instructors to better their teaching and learning activities.
150 buckets of paint, 100 led bulbs, 4,500 practice books, 12,000 pencils, and seven cartons of chalk were among the items.
Mr Stephen Abamfo, the Accra Metro Director of Schooling, accepted the gifts and expressed gratitude for the thoughtful gesture, noting, “Ms Newman has been performing well in terms of education.”
He assured the MP that his group, as well as the students and teachers, would put the materials to good use.
