Neymar & Brazil Sent Home By Mighty Croatia in a Thrilling Penalty Shootouts

The World Cup is becoming more fascinating as football titans are shown the door by those who were considered underdogs.
Today’s encounter between Croatia and the reigning world champions Brazil saw the former completely destroy the latter.
Despite the Samba guys’ onslaught, the Croatians held on so tightly to the game in a thrilling and exciting contest.
They forced a scoreless draw before the game was taken to extra time. Brazil scored in the first extra half, thanks to Neymar Jr. The odds were now in Brazil’s favour, but after equalizing, Bruno Petkoviç ruined the party.
This sent the match into penalty shoot-outs, where Croatia dispatched Brazil by scoring four of their penalties to Brazil’s two. Now, Neymar’s team joins the ranks of Germany and Spain, both of which were ousted from the World Cup early on.
