NDC Regional Elections; Group Exposes Michael Kwetey Tetteh
The Concern National Democratic Congress Members of Ningo-Prampram Constituency Group, have exposed Mr. Michael Kwetey Tetteh, an aspiring Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the party for lying to delegates and the party supporters about building an ultra-modern modern office for the party in the constituency.
Addressing a press conference in Old Ningo yesterday, the Convenor of the group, Ishmael Gbadagbo, said “Mr. Tetteh going around saying that he has built an ultra-modern office for the party in the Ningo-Prampram Constituency was a total lie and should be disregarded by the NDC and the general public”.
He disclosed that Mr. Tetteh’s statement was only meant to deceive the Executives of the party to vote.
“In 2018, he came to contest for the chairmanship position, and during his campaign, he promised of building an ultra-modern party office for the constituency and also donate three Toyota pickups for the party in the Constituency but failed to fulfil his promise” he stated.
According to him, the only party office the NDC can boast of is an old Container roofed and painted with party colors situated at Prampram Blotsisonya.
He further stated that in the history of Ningo-Prampram, all vehicles used to do party work are vehicles given to the constituency by the party’s top hierarchy and the sitting MP.
“We challenge Mr. Tetteh to come out boldly and show proof of the purported claims of the ultra-modern office and the three Toyota pickups he donated to the constituency years back” Mr. Gbadagbo disclosed.
He also described the NDC Greater Accra Chairman Hopeful as a troublesome personality who has brought division between executives in the constituency.
“We are sending a word of caution to all newly elected constituency executives who are supporting Mr. Tetteh’s candidature that the four years mantle given them is just around the corner and should be very careful with their decision” he warned.
The Convener of the group also said “we Ghanaians are suffering and we cannot afford to give an entire region to someone like Mr. Michael Kwetey Tetteh to lead us, he is an epitome of a stomach politician and does not have the party at heart”.
Mr. Gbadagbo further alleged that Mr. Tetteh is a confused man and would bring divisions into the party in the region when elected as chairman.
