Mama Lyn Charity Foundation empowers Mafi Adidome basic school pupils on their rights
V/R – September 18, 2024-The Mama Lyn Charity Foundation, led by its dedicated founder Madam Evelyn Agbese Wemegah, held an enlightening sensitization program this morning at the Roman Catholic Basic School located at the Mafi-Adidome in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region.
The initiative aimed to educate students on their rights and responsibilities as learners, fostering an environment of awareness and empowerment among the youth.
The session, which was attended by numerous eager pupils, provided valuable insights into the fundamental rights every child possesses, including the right to education, protection from abuse, and the importance of participation in school activities.
Madam Wemegah passionately conveyed these messages, using engaging activities and discussions to encourage active participation among the children.
“Understanding your rights is crucial,” Madam Wemegah stated during the program. “But equally important is recognizing your responsibilities towards yourself, your peers, and your community. Together, we can build a supportive environment that fosters growth and development.”
The pupils responded enthusiastically, asking questions and sharing their thoughts about how they can uphold their responsibilities.
Educators at the school also expressed gratitude for the initiative, acknowledging its importance in shaping the mindset of the young learners.
