ICAO Denies Ghana Card E-passport Certification
Dr. Bawumia had said the public authority has been working with the ICAO to internationally initiate the e-visa capacity of the Ghana card.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has dismissed media reports proposing that it has supported the utilization of the National Identification Card, prevalently known as Ghana Card, as an e-passport.
“Any decision to accept such alternative travel identity document is made by the receiving state itself,” ICAO further explained.
