“Ghanaians Want Innovative Minority And Not Just 70% Talkatives” ~ Uncle Ebo Mensah To Haruna Iddrisu

“Governance is a serious business and for that matter, we need innovative and creative ideas to move this nation foward and not just mediocre Parliamentarians who just come to warm the parliamentary seat in the august house and can’t add anything to the development of this country.”

The New Patriotic Party’s Greater Accra Regional Director of Communication, Honorable Francis Ebo Mensah, was reacting to a CITI FM NEWS ROOM(CNR) report during the filling of Hon. Haruna Iddrisu’s nominations forms at the NDC Tamale South Constituency office over the weekend. The Minority leader in Parliament, in his interactions with the media assured NDC party faithfuls of the NDC securing 70% of the 275 parliamentary seats in Ghana’s Parliament come 2020 and was also convinced the NDC would form the next government come 2021.

The NDC in both 5th and 6th Parliament, had 148 and 116 parliamentary seats respectively and formed majority in parliament as against NPP’s 123 and 107 in that regard and formed government when the NPP government led by John Agyekum Kuffour left a Middle income status state in their care. What the NDC and himself, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu who was a Minister of State did was to send Ghana back to the IMF which led many Ghanaian walloping in absolute poverty and holding this precious Country to a standstill.

“Are we just seeking to have 70% Parliamentarians being NDC or we want a government that would fix the mess they created and they had no clue to it and is now being corrected by a visionary Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo led NPP Government?, The seasoned Communications Director, Ebo Mensah popularly known as Uncle Ebo quized.

The NDC with their majority in parliament led by John Dramani Mahama, told Ghanaians “We have consumed all the meat and left off only Bones”. Today, that bone is gaining it’s flesh like the 100,000 NABCO jobs, Digital addressing System, Ghana Card, etc and a well structured economy that has been praised by many world leaders and economists world over. Hon. Ebo Mensah pointed out.

And as the President rightly said, we as NPP are not in a hurry to win the next election in this country, but to create an enabling environment where Ghanaians would be proud of their country because they are enjoying better leadership which is driven by micro and macro economic stabilty. With this, the tremendious human resource at the disposal of the country is well nurtured and empowered to use the nations Agricultural and other natural resource to develop this country for the betterment of all and not for a few and I can assure the Minority leader, Ghanaians in 2020 will not vote base on who gets which percentage in the next parliament, but they would vote for the continuation of the good socio-economic policies coupled with viable Social interventions that the NPP is seen doing to better their lives.
The Greater Accra Regional Director of the Ruling New Patriotic Party, Hon. Francis Ebo Mensah has said.

It is only the NDC and their minority who have vowed not to open their eyes see the countless promises that has been fulfilled by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, but well meaning Ghanaians are wild awake to speak on Nana Addo’s behalf through the ballot come 2020 elections.
