Ghana Railway Company assures public over the safety of trains after incident


On Thursday March 10,2022, some 62 people were reported to have received several injuries due to commotion caused after smoke was seen to have been emanating from the train they boarded.
The train was reported to have been carrying pupils to and from school amongst others.
The window glasses of the train were shattered during the confusion and escape.
Apparently, the engine caught fire hence the smoke.
The Ghana Railway Company limited have come out to make the effort to assure the public over the safety of their trains despite the incident.
The Public Relations Officer, Thomas Brown, revealed that the company has already made the effort to hospitalize the injured passengers.
