Vote Counting Underway Across Ghana: The election 2020 in Ghana is over and vote counting is underway across Ghana. Ghana is holding its historic election. Results coming in are from the various polling stations.

Vote counting underway once completed, the ballot boxes will be transported to the collation centers to be collated for the various constituencies.

All parliamentary results will be collated from all the polling stations per constituency to declare the winner.

The Constituency Presiding Officers will be responsible for declaring the results of the parliamentary candidates. Once the results are certified for the parliamentary elections, certified results will be declared by the Constituency Presiding Officers.

The Presidential Election is a contest between 12 candidates with the two main candidates been the NPP’s Nana Addo, the current president of Ghana, and his biggest contender John Mahama, the former president on the ticket of the NDC.

For the results of the presidential election, the Electoral Commissioner, Mrs. Jane Mensah, is the returning officer who is the only one who will declare the results.
