Bing Search to soon get a new ‘No Search’ feature
The upcoming ‘No Search’ feature will prevent Bing Search from looking for answers on the internet and might reduce the amount of time required to reply to a query.

Microsoft’s Bing AI is one of the best conversational chatbots to date. But unlike ChatGPT, every time users ask Bing a question, the chatbot searches for the information on the internet instead of referring to its own dataset.
Even though it is not a big deal, sometimes the chatbot is slow to respond because it is searching for new information. To fix this issue, Microsoft seems to be working on a new feature that will prevent Bing Search from using the internet to look for answers.
According to a recent tweet by Mikhail Parakhin, who happens to be the head of Advertising and Web Services at Microsoft, the ‘No Search’ feature is coming soon.
While Parakhin did not share any concrete details on when it will be available, he did mention it on Twitter a couple of times last week. The ‘No Search’ will surely come in handy and reduce the overall time it takes for Bing to respond to the query and eventually result in a better user experience.
It might make Bing usable in different situations where the internet is not available or the connectivity is slow or limited and help generate precise and more focused responses.
Microsoft has been constantly adding new features like to Bing Search like the ability to search using voice. OpenAI also integrated Bing Search with the ChatGPT app on iOS, but the feature is currently limited to premium subscribers.
