Bawumia cuts sod for Benchema Junction to Adjoafua Road

In fulfillment of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ’s pledge to the people of the Western North region, Dr mahamudu Bawumia has cut the sod for the construction of Benchema Junction to Adjoafua Road.
When completed the 38km road will serve as a major road linking Ghana to the Ivory Coast at Oseikojokrom.
The road is the heart of the region because the natural resources in the region have the potential of turning the fortunes of Ghana around.
There are other major Trunks, Urban and Feeder road projects started in the Western North region. These projects include;
a. Upgrading of selected Roads in Sefwi Juaboso- 14.43km
b. Upgrading of selected Roads in Sefwi Wiawso Lot 1 – 5.0km
c. Upgrading Of Selected Roads in Sefwi Wiawso Lot 2- 8.1km
d. Construction of Sefwi Wiawso – Akotombro (Km15 – 56)
e. Rehabilitation of Buako – Asankore (km 0 -15)
f. Others include; Takwa-Nsueam, Mpohor, Wassa Amenfi West and Ellembelle.
Contracts have just been awarded for the continuation of the roads from Esem to Oseikojokrom (25km) and also for the Construction of Sefwi Wiawso – Akontombra (km 0-15).


2020 is surely a year of roads.
