Arsenal In Talks With Thomas Partey Over A New Deal

Arsenal Football Club is currently in talks with Ghana National Team defensive midfielder and vice-captain Thomas Teye Partey over a new deal.
London-based club Arsenal Football Club, per reports, is currently in talks over a new contract deal with Ghanaian defensive midfielder Thomas Partey, whose current contract with the club ends at the end of the 2024/25 English Premier League season.
David Ornstein, a renowned sports journalist, reported on Wednesday night that the English Premier League giants will be willing to renew the contract of Thomas Partey, with the player seeking an improved salary.
He also added that the club will be willing to offer Thomas Partey either a two-year deal contract or a one-year deal contract with an option to extend to another 12 months, as the defensive midfielder is happy staying in London with his family.
Earlier this morning, Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano on his X account “@FabrizioRomano” reported that the English Premier League giants are currently preparing to offer Thomas Partey a new deal. He stated, “Arsenal is prepared to offer Thomas Partey a new deal with a different salary structure compared to the current one. Thomas, assessing all options on the table with Arsenal now keen on keeping him.”
Some Arsenal fans had this to say in the comment section of the post made by Fabrizio Romano. “Good player, Arteta should hold him tight,” another said. “Thomas Partey should stay and groom Lewis Myles Skelly.” Another added, “Thomas Partey has been a key role in Arsenal’s little success.”
If both parties agree on the contract, it will see Thomas Partey staying at the English Premier League beyond the 2025/25 English Premier League Football season.
