Ambassador Walter Mawuli Gli Appointed President of US-Based Carter Enterprises Empire

Ghanaian entertainer and humanitarian Ambassador Walter Mawuli Gli, popularly known as Mr. Bacteria, has been appointed President of Carter Enterprises Empire (CEE), a United States-based private music ministry.

The appointment recognises his contributions to humanitarian service, education, youth empowerment, creative arts, tourism, and community development through his work in Ghana and across Africa.

A statement issued by CEE on October 16, 2026, said the appointment followed the successful staging of the NO MERCY Global Concert in Ghana on September 26, 2026, an international collaboration between Ambassador Gli and Rev. Teresa D. Carter, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CEE.

It said Ambassador Gli demonstrated dedication, professionalism, loyalty, and leadership throughout the planning and execution of the concert, influencing the decision to appoint him to lead the organisation.

Rev. Carter said the appointment reflected his commitment to service, his support for participating artistes and his ability to unite people around a common vision.

“Leadership is not simply a title. It is demonstrated through sacrifice, loyalty, integrity, dedication, and the willingness to serve others,” she said.

Ambassador Gli is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TERIA Foundation, through which he has supported initiatives such as EARLYFEST, the Africa Early Childhood Education Awards and Beading in Schools, aimed at creating opportunities for children, educators, emerging entrepreneurs and underserved communities.

Under the new leadership arrangement, CEE and TERIA Foundation are expected to collaborate on the Beats to Deeds movement, which seeks to use music, entertainment, and media to support community development.

The initiative will bring together media and entertainment networks, including Blazin 420 Entertainment Network, Blazin AfroBeats 420, and Nerve DJs Network, to explore opportunities in broadcasting, music distribution, artiste development, and international creative collaboration.

The statement said CEE also envisioned reinvesting designated portions of qualifying concert proceeds in community development projects.

Its proposed areas of focus include artiste housing, recording studios, creative spaces, affordable housing, youth development, financial literacy, and the revitalisation of underserved communities in Ghana and the United States.

Rev. Carter said the initiative was intended to ensure that the benefits of entertainment extended beyond performances to the communities that nurture artistes and sustain the creative industry.

“We are here to turn inspiration into infrastructure, talent into opportunity, and beats into deeds,” she said, adding that the vision included service, ownership, financial empowerment, and international unity.

As President, Ambassador Gli is expected to contribute his experience in cultural development, humanitarian service, education, and international partnerships to advance CEE’s mission.

The two organisations also intend to strengthen collaboration among artistes, educators, faith-based groups, media organisations, development partners, and communities across Ghana and the United States.

The statement said the partnership would build on the NO MERCY Global Concert to pursue wider opportunities for creative professionals and community development.

CEE is led by Rev. Carter, who serves as its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, while Ambassador Gli will serve as President.

The organisation describes its mission through the slogan, “Beats to Deeds—Turning Beats into Deeds,” reflecting its vision of linking music and entertainment with humanitarian service and sustainable community impact.
