Trump considers written testimony in on going impeachment process. President Trump said on Monday he was going to “strongly considers” the written testimony of his impeachment as part of a week-old report on the contentious activities he had been performing involving Ukraine.

In the morning tweets, Trump said he may take over House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on a proposal she made over the weekend. Trump also stated that the rules of the investigation had been “rigged” by Pelosi and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.).

As Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-ky.) spoke to reporters in Kentucky on Monday, he told the House that he would not imagine a scenario in which his house would vote to remove Trump if he were brought to justice.

Pelosi wrote in a recent letter to his Democratic colleagues on Monday that the details of the prosecution investigation were “uncontested,” saying that President Trump “abused of his powers at the detriment of our national security interests of his own personal, political benefits.”
