TERIA Foundation, Partners Open Participation for Lapaz Streetfest 2026
TERIA Foundation and its partners have opened participation for artists, creatives, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), food vendors, fashion entrepreneurs, artisans, exhibitors, and other businesses seeking to showcase their talents, products, and services at Lapaz Streetfest 2026.
The two-day community festival is scheduled for December 25 and 26, 2026, at Lapaz in Accra, beginning at 10:00 a.m. each day and running till late.
Held under the theme “Rhythm of Unity,” the festival is expected to bring together music, dance, fashion, food, culture, tourism, creative arts, entrepreneurship, and community development in a vibrant Christmas-season celebration.
According to the organizers, Lapaz Streetfest is being developed in alignment with the vision of Ghana’s Black Star Experience, which seeks to position the country as a leading destination for authentic cultural, creative, and tourism experiences while creating opportunities for local communities, young people, and businesses to participate in the tourism and creative economy.
Listed on Ghana Tourism Marketplace
Lapaz Streetfest has also been featured on the Ghana Tourism Marketplace through the portals of the Ghana Tourism Development Company Ltd. (GTDCL), in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts.
The organizers say the institutional tourism connection underscores the festival’s broader objective of leveraging community-based events to promote Ghanaian culture, local tourism, creative enterprise, and economic opportunities.
Opportunities for Artists and Creatives
Performing artists, musicians, dancers, DJs, cultural performers, comedians, and other creatives are being encouraged to express their interest in participating in the festival.
The organizers say the event will provide creatives with an opportunity to connect with audiences, showcase their work, and contribute to the celebration of Ghanaian culture during the Christmas season.
SMEs and Vendors Invited
SMEs, entrepreneurs, and vendors are also being encouraged to take advantage of the festival to promote and sell their products and services.
Areas of interest include:
- Food and beverages
- Fashion and accessories
- Arts and crafts
- Beauty and lifestyle products
- Creative products and services
- Tourism-related businesses
- Youth-led enterprises
- Local brands and innovative businesses
TERIA Foundation and its partners believe the festival can create meaningful opportunities for participating businesses to reach new audiences, strengthen their brands, generate commercial opportunities, and engage directly with the community.
Promoting Lapaz as a Cultural and Business Destination
The organizers further believe Lapaz Streetfest 2026 can contribute to making Lapaz a more visible destination for culture, entertainment, tourism, and entrepreneurship.
Beyond entertainment, the festival is expected to provide a platform for local talent and businesses to gain visibility while contributing to community development and the broader growth of Ghana’s creative and tourism economy.
Artists, creatives, SMEs, and vendors interested in participating are encouraged to contact the organizing team for registration and participation information.
