The artwork and track list for Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, better known by her stage as Ayra Starr,’s upcoming sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21,’ have been revealed.
The Grammy-nominated singer said she looked like a bag of money when she snapped at the artwork. She surprised her fans on social media by sharing a track list and artwork for her upcoming sophomore album.
She claimed that envisioning herself leaning on a vintage car in a highway scene made her appear wealthy.

The tracklist “The Year I Turned 21,” also known as “TYIT21,” is officially set for release on May 31, 2024, however it is currently available for preorder.
Even fellow superstars like Nigerian music sensation Wizkid, who tweeted her artwork reveal and expressed support with the hashtag “Love it,” were looking forward to the music star’s album.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the album included prominent musicians from several nations, including Brazil’s Anitta, America’s Giveon and Coco Jones, and Nigeria’s Asake and Seyi Vibes.

Starr is a singer-songwriter from Nigeria who, at the age of 16, started working with Quove Model Management in the fashion industry before deciding to focus on her musical career.
In December 2019, she shared her first original song on her Instagram profile after covering other songs by well-known musicians.
She was discovered by record executive Don Jazzy through the posting, and he signed her to his company, Marvin Record.
The singer then became well-known throughout the world in 2022 after her song “Rush” was released.
The song achieved chart success across multiple regions, making notable appearances on music charts in Switzerland, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Its highest position was number 24 in the UK. This widespread recognition underscores its popularity and broad appeal, resonating with audiences across diverse cultural landscapes. Such global recognition speaks volumes about the song’s impact and enduring legacy, cementing its status as a memorable and influential piece of music within the international music scene.
