Police Officers Interdicted over Lamashegu Shooting Incident

A number of police staff in Tamale engaged in a fight against the young people of Lamashegu resulting in a couple of fatal injuries and the unfortunate death of one.
The episode is said to have happened after the police on their watches supposedly halted an unregistered vehicle however the driver wouldn’t quit bringing about the previous pursuing the last option.
Six police officers were identified with the clash and have since been interdicted following a statement from the public affairs office of the Ghana Police Service.
The police officers involved include; General Constable Mathew Sah, General Corporal Prosper Mormesimu, General Constable Harrison Twum Danso (Driver), General Constable Nuhu Muntari, Constable Doris Serwa Bonsu and General Corporal Samson Kweku Darfour.
