GHS65,000 donated by Atlantic Lithium towards 2025 Nkusukum Odambea Festival

The company behind the Ewoyaa Lithium Project, Atlantic Lithium Ghana Limited has donated ₵65000 to support the 2025 Odambea Festival of Nkusukum Traditional Area.
10 crates of minerals, 15 packs of bottled water, 10 crates of Guinness and two bottles each of Schnapps and whisky was also part of the donation. Ahmed-Salim Adam, the General Manager of Atlantic Lithium Ghana Limited gave ₵10,000 out of his own pocket to support the celebration of the festival showing how he is committed to serving the community. The donation is part of the company’s Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) initiative. This is also geared towards giving back to the communities the company serves.
Ahmed-Salim Adam, the company’s General Manager together with staff including Project Geologist Evans Quarshie, Dr. Millicent Aning Agyei, the Community Relations and Social Performance Manager and some team members attended to celebrate with the chief and Community members at the Victoria Park in Saltpond.

Nkusukum and part of the Mfantseman Municipality have received support from Atlantic Lithium Ghana Limited (ALGL) so many times. Deep dedication has been shown by Atlantic Lithium Ghana Limited to help in the development of the local communities. The Company is also investing in education, sanitation and water and agriculture in the Community to make life convenient in the community and its surroundings.

The Mfanteman Municipal Assembly and the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankesse District Assembly received a cheque donation of ₵275,596.30 from the Atlantic Lithium in July 2024 for building and renovating schools whose building had been damaged by heavy rains. Some major infrastructure project including the yet-to-be-commissioned Water Treatment System in Ewoyaa was supported by the Company. This project is expected to provide clean and consistent water supply in the community once it’s up and running.
The company is also working to improve the lives of the communities where the project is being done, as the foundation is being layed for sustainable economic growth and social development.
