The chiefs, led by Naa Imoru Nandon Gomah II, welcomed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate, to their palace on July 22, 2024. They were pleased that Dr. Bawumia respected their traditions by announcing his presidential run to them personally.
During his visit, Dr. Bawumia discussed his plans for Ghana and interacted with various community leaders and residents. The Paramount Chief, Naa Gomah II, expressed gratitude for the development projects brought by the NPP governments, including new hospitals, dams, roads, and educational programs.
Naa Gomah II blessed Dr. Bawumia’s presidential bid and assured him of their support, hoping he will continue the NPP’s good work if elected after December 7, 2024.

5. Free Senior High School Program: Students benefited from free education.
6. School Feeding Program: Children received meals at school.
The Paramount Chief emphasized the positive impact of these projects on their community. He reiterated the chiefs’ commitment to supporting Dr. Bawumia and the NPP, hoping for continued development and blessings for the nation.
Naa Gomah II also mentioned that the community appreciates the ongoing support from the NPP government, which has significantly improved their lives. He expressed confidence that Dr. Bawumia, if elected, would continue to prioritize the development of their area and the entire nation.
