Agradaa starts plea deal talks in leaked photo case.

The parties involved in the case of Patricia Asieduaa, popularly known as Nana Agradaa has been irected by the High Court in Accra to file the terms of a proposed plea bargain ahead of the next sitting.
Patricia Asieduaa, who is populary known as Nana Agradaa, was once a former fetish priestess and she became an evangelist. She is facing charges for allegedly purportedly distributing the nude images of Pastor Emmanuel Appiah Fumum (popularly known as Osofo Biblical) on her TV station and social media platforms without his consent.
Agradaa is already serving 15 years imprisonment hard labour for getting involved in fake religious practices. July 2025 was when Patricia Asieduaa started her sentence.
The former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo passed a bill to introduce plea bargaining into Ghana’s justice system for some cases on July 22, 2022,
Plea bargaining is a process in criminal justice where an accused person is given the right a full trial in exchange for some other benefit. Due to the person pleaded guilty, the accused person faces reduced charges, a reduced number of offences, or receives a lesser sentence.
The judge ordered that the agreement should be filed at least three clear days before December 16, 2025, the next sitting date during the Tuesday Dec 2, 2025 court session. The prosecution informed the court that they were trying to consider by applying for a bench warrant for the other person charged in the case
The defence counsel said that they have not served with the hearing notice. The counsel for Nana Agradaa made it clear to the Court that the discussions with the Office of the Attorney-General on a possible pleas deals were “far advanced” and asked for a brief delay.
The prosecutor said the person who reported it, Emmanuel Appiah Fumum, was part of the ongoing discussions and showed up in court. The judge then told the court registrar to make sure that a notice was rightly given to counsel for the other person involved in this case before the next court date.
