Election 2020: Nii Lantey Vanderpuye released from Police custody

NewsGhana24 can confirm that Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, Member of Parliament for the Constituency of Odododiodiodio, has been released from police custody. Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye was detained on Tuesday morning by Ghana Police Service staff.
He was picked up from the Modak Hotel where after a shooting incident; he was living.
Two other people have since been arrested and referred to the Central Police Department for questioning.
Reports suggest that the MP who strives to maintain the Odododiodio parliamentary seat has won a majority of the votes from the various polling stations.
