[PICTURES] Kumasi Trotro drivers turn pedestrian footbridge into road

News making rounds on social media has revealed that Trotro drivers in Kumasi have turned a pedestrian footbridge into a road. This dangerous move may have started long ago with authorities, not taking action to deal with this practice which has the tendency to weaken the footbridge due to the weight of the cars.
The area has been identified as the Tech Junction. Footbridges or pedestrian walkovers are not meant for cars.
One social media user Kofi Owusu Tawiah broke the news with pictures to prove the indiscipline taking place which puts pedestrians on and beneath the footbridge at risk. The KMA must act now with the help of the police and other security agencies to halt the practice.
