The statement, which has since gone viral, has sparked widespread controversy and raised serious questions about Adorye’s involvement in alleged electoral malpractices.
According to sources, Adorye is currently in custody and is expected to appear before the court on Thursday.
The Police are investigating the matter and will likely press charges against Adorye if found guilty of making false claims.
Adorye’s arrest comes at a time when the NPP is already facing intense scrutiny over allegations of electoral fraud and corruption.
The arrest of Adorye, who is a prominent figure in the NPP, is likely to further fuel these allegations and raise concerns about the integrity of the political process in Ghana.
